THE FAST PACE OF MODERN LIFE OR THE VAN LIFE FLOW?

The fast pace of modern life or the van life flow?

The notion of time in a van life is totality different than the generic life. No way I can schedule anything, it is a day to day program. I was supposed to start THE HEART OF FRANCE IN 80 DAYS one month ago, i’m not on the road yet and for once I don’t feel guilty about it, as I’m slowly learning how to respond to opportunities which comes into my path:

The first one have been the time that my brother granted me to help me built this blog, which I’ve been dreaming making for years.

Next, an email I’ve been waiting to received for over 2 years! It is an amazing news that I can’t wait to share with you, however I still need to work on it before to be 100% sure it will happen. Be patience, you won’t believe it!

Third, my family. I spent the past 2 months at my parents place, sorting out my blog and dealing with this surprise that I just mentioned. I’m now ready to go but my brother will arrive in few days to spend his holiday with the family. Should I stay or should I go? I’ve been thinking a lot about it. Launching this blog gives me some kind of responsibility toward you; this social media consistency that we are oblige to maintain to make sure to keep people interested and the “get more followers business”. However my words on this blog wouldn’t make any sense if I wouldn’t offer my heart and my time to my own family. To be able to take my final decision, I imagined which moments I would like to live if I would die next week. Would I prefer to be alone in my van playing the super heros, wanting to spread a message of love through my projects, or would I prefer to hug my niece and nephew who I so rarely see? I easily made my choice and the conflict in my mind stopped straight away.

The beauty of life is about those simples moments that we often devalue, our daily routine blind us,  busyness became not just a way of life but a badge of honour.

I’m happy to be late, happy take my time and to follow the values which I believe in.

Thank you for your patience, for staying by my side. The adventure is about to restart very soon!

I ditched everything to drive around Europe in a camper van,
photographing and sharing the stories of the people I meet.
