40 MINUTES BEFORE THE END OF THE HEART OF FRANCE IN 80 DAYS
How good it is to know that someone is waiting for you, that you know where to go when everything is about to end. I have this chance today so why not enjoy it? It was important that this last day makes sense, as I go "home." This sense that we too often move away, until the point that we forget its existence, as we so little listen ourselves. I will arrive by surprise, as is my habit, without flowers or chocolates, the union being to me the most beautiful gift.
Only 40 minutes before the heart of France in 80 days will die in honour of all the Saints that I would have met on the rebirth road. Thank again for welcoming me into your lives.
I would finish the journey on a high note letting life offering me this last adventure I didn't even dared to imagine: Navigating at sea on the replica of St Michel II, Jules Verne’s ship built by the hands and sweat of humble devotees from La Cale 2 l'île in Nantes. The life isn't in books or in museums, it is right next to us if we are curious enough to go meet it, by taking time to listen to the heart of the other, knowing marvel at his/her hands creative of imaginary. The crew will invite me to join them to relive the history and share together our common passion for travel and human adventure.
I take the helm of the Ocean Atlantic already watching what would be my life on the other side. A rather magical feeling to face the immensity of the possibilities, this white page where sea and sky merge. How strange it feels when everything makes sense.
What are we waiting for to let ourselves be surprised by life more often, to listen our inner silence whom alone knows to guide us to the road of freedom? What are we waiting for to let this love shoot off from ourselves to murder this dead being that sticks to our skin?
