THE SOUL OF “MY” HOME IS STILL ALIVE
I am now heading to a place I couldn't wait to rediscover, the house of my childhood, after 22 years. In the garden, surprise: hundred people run, play, jump and laugh. How good it is to see that the soul of "my" home is still alive. It was important to me to add this place to "The heart to France in 80 days" and give it a special place, the junction between the two sides of the heart.
In "my" bedroom, Sean American, and in the others corners, trucks, huts, bubbles, Aaron English, Anderson Brazilian, David Czech, Ansylandia from Haiti, Katie American, all volunteers to help the homeowners, Canadians, in the activity they created, Caribou Adventures. A melting who looks like me, I could not be more thrilled.
I would spend few days with them playing like a child, sleeping in a bubble suspended in trees and been able once again to fell asleep from owl's chant. I had awaited for so long for this tribe when I was kid, often alone bored watching TV.
I shine from this simple feeling of ecstasy to be able to relive what was once the time of great family, with people coming from around the world. This house is no longer mine but that does not matter, today those shared moments allow me to mend the wounds of the past.
